Multiple domestic abuse arrests made in Berkshire West ‘day of action’

Hello Resident,

Officers and staff in our Berkshire West Local Command Unit came together to target domestic abuse offenders on Friday.
The operation was delivered to enhance our work that goes on every day to tackle domestic abuse across the Thames Valley, recognising we see a rise in demand during the summer months.
In total, we: 

👮🏻 Made 10 arrests 

⚖️ Made 1 charge and remand 

🖐🏻Issued 3 cautions 

📲 Seized and downloaded 3 devices 

🗣️Conducted 1 voluntary interview 

📁 Issued 2 Fail to Appear warrants

🚓Released 3 offenders on police bail

We have and always will take domestic abuse, in all its forms, extremely seriously and we do everything in our power to target it in our communities. 

Abuse often continues behind closed doors for years, and we need to take every opportunity to break the cycle.
